We’ve definitely been through the DVD problem. I thought they would NEVER learn they weren’t allowed to touch them (because Reilly was always pretty good at it, and usually DID do it just right, but Jaina was another story) but they finally did. They almost never change it themselves now. It is super frustrating though, and I feel your pain! When our kids don’t get to “play games” (the computer) because they haven’t gone to bed well or something, I groan inside!

Ohhh, boy. Interesting, isn’t it, how punishments are just as hard for the parents as they are for the kids?
And good luck with the yard work. It’s amazing how trying to do ANYTHING with kiddos underfoot is so hard, isn’t it…especially with the lovely Northern Arizona wind?
Lacy and Jack sound just like two peas in a pod. He LOVES getting in the DVDs. Something that I did to try to keep him out of them is put all of our DVDs into two huge CD cases (you know the ones–that look like books), then keep those cases in a cabinet with an intense child lock on the handles. I don’t know if Lacy can get past those things yet, but it’s been a help. Sometimes, however, I accidentally leave the CD books out, and then…mayhem. But just an idea.

Yup, know how you feel. That’s why we have our DVDs in a locked cabinet these days!! At least you’ll have enough time to get those aprons done ;)

How ironic, my husband just banned Maya from television for two days. It’s not fair. What did I do to deserve this punishment??? Anywho-I just wanted to let you know I feel your pain.
